The genre of electro house has definitely lost its way a lot over the past year but that doesn’t necessarily mean all electro house producers have lost their way. One of the few electro house producers who is consistently making good new music and pushing the boundaries of the genre and his own sound is John Dahlback, this is his latest track ‘Nuke’. Thanks John.
One of the bright spots in recent weeks/months in new music releases is definitely this collaboration between Sander Van Doorn, Dubvision and Mako called ‘Into the Light’. The track also has a great vocal contribution from Mariana Bell. While so many producers are just making cut and paste big room electro tracks Sander, Dubvision and Mako stay true to what they love and make an incredible vocal progressive track. This one is a great summer track and I am hoping these guys get together to make some more tracks together in the future!
Dirty South who has been relatively quiet in the new year is back with a new remix of Monsta’s track ‘Messiah’. Dirty always picks great tracks to remix and this is another great selection by him. He always picks tracks that have vocals to complement his unique style of progressive house just right. Not much really to say about this track other than that it is just classic Dirty South, which in this day and age of garbage EDM its refreshing to hear that some people are sticking to there roots. Enjoy!
Great remix from the rising star Project 46 of Kelly Clarksons latest single ‘People Like Us’. If you know me you know I am a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson, always have been always will be. That being said I love to see EDM producers remix her tracks and Project 46 do a great job with this one, they utilize Kelly’s great vocals and build it perfectly into their great progressive house style. The chorus goes perfectly with the drop, this song also shows you that every EDM track doesn’t need to revolve totally around the drop which is something that has become a trend that sucks. Enjoy Kelly and 46!
Toronto natives and frequent collaborators Adam K and Soha have teamed up again for their latest original piece entitled “Lost in Orbit’. These two are actually not on everyones radar which is strange because most have heard at least something by the duo, ie. Kaskade – 4AM (Adam K and Soha Remix). Adam K also collabed with Kaskade on the track ‘Raining’ which has of course at this point become a classic. This latest track is a good one and a breath of fresh air for me. They stick to what they know best and make a track worth listening to so do just that give this one a listen and enjoy!
Fresh off the success of ‘Hit It’ Henrix has released his Rock This Dream EP and this is a track off of it in which he collaborated with Jakob Liedholm called ‘Losing My Mind’ with vocals contributions from Giuseppe Viola. A little different feel from ‘Hit It’ as this is a nice vocals progressive house track with some incredible piano and synth lines. I mean great idea teaming up with young Jakob on a track as that kid is probably one of EDM’s youngest stars with the most potential alongside Danny Avila and Madeon of course. Check this one out for sure, enjoy!
This track was actually released in I think December of last year but I never knew about it and the actual original version of it ‘The Lucky Ones’ by Kerli is starting to gain fame and is getting airtime on the top 40 radio stations so what better time to post it. They play this remix of it, Syn Cole vs. Kerli Remix on BPM once and a while and I really enjoy it. Syn Cole is a producer that really makes some great progressive festival style tracks but never gets the recognition deserved despite having his tracks played by some huge names. Anwyay check out this one out its got great piano lines, builds, vocals and a big festival progressive drop so its a win/win situation. Enjoy!
