The genre of electro house has definitely lost its way a lot over the past year but that doesn’t necessarily mean all electro house producers have lost their way. One of the few electro house producers who is consistently making good new music and pushing the boundaries of the genre and his own sound is John Dahlback, this is his latest track ‘Nuke’. Thanks John.
Nicky Romero following up his massive set at Ultra by releasing a really sought after track of his ‘Symphonica’. This is just standard incredible production from Nicky who seems to never disappoint anymore especially when he is releasing his specialty, big electro tunes. Love the start of the second build in this song with the acapella violins and cellos which make for a really epic build into the second drop. Enjoy!
New track from the boys in Hard Rock Sofa named perhaps after the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, who like the Hard Rock Sofa guys was Russian. The new track ‘Rasputin’ was released on Axwell’s label Axtone and is pretty standard stuff from the guys. Big festival buildups and big festival drops, you can bet to hear this one at shows in the coming season maybe bootlegged with some vocals. The second buildup is the best and even features a creepy sample to go along with the eery synths. Enjoy!
Firebeatz continue to pump out the massive electro tracks, this one ‘Gangster’ just in time for Ultra and Miami Music week. Definitely not a coincidence and I am sure this is one you will hear in a lot of electro house sets due to its huge buildup and catchy sample before the Firebeatz monster drop. These guys continue to push the boundaries of electro house and are definitely at the forefront of the genre. Enjoy!
No surprise here topping our Best of February 2013 list is the collaboration between GTA, Henrix and Digital Lab’s ‘Hit It’ which in our humble opinions may be, though its early to say, the track of the year. It will at least be the track at Ultra and a bunch of the festivals this Spring and Summer. Also on the list tracks from Project 46, Armin Van Buuren, Sidney Samson, John Dahlback, Crookers and more! Check it out after the jump!
Tiesto is back remixing his good friends, the boys in Dada Life, with ‘So Young So High’. In the past Tiesto has remixed Dada Life’s ‘Lets Get Bleeped Tonight’ which is an incredible remix and definitely an under-appreciated one in my book. Tiesto has also been known to play a lot of Dada in his sets and its a fact that hes a big fan of the banana loving duo. This latest remix is another heavy electro one from Tiesto which has become a trend lately for him as he continues to show his dominance over every sub genre of EDM out there. What do you think of the latest? Let us know and enjoy!
New Dahlback called ‘Hunterfield’ not much I can say about this guy I haven’t already. He is my favorite producer right now and has been for a while now and he continues to release quality tracks. This is another great electro track with his unique style on it. John Dahlback is one of the few producers that I still have total faith in, he never lets me down. Got some more Dahlback to post in a bit too. Enjoy!
Firebeatz with another huge track ‘Ahw Yeah’ following up there monster year in 2012 these guys are continuing their rise in 2013. This is another huge build up and huge drop Firebeatz track that we have become accustomed to. If you are a fan of Firebeatz work in the past then stop reading and download because this won’t disappoint. Not familiar with Firebeatz yet? Get started now.
Crookers, formally an Italian duo of producers, now just one man has released his latest offering an EP called Giga A Go GO. Crookers have made some of the most strange and incredibly interesting electro house I have ever come across. I love Crookers for many of the same reasons I love John Dahlback, so diverse and so unique his style seems to be unlike anyone elses. These two new tracks are some of the best work I have heard released under the Crookers name in a while. ‘Giga’ and ‘A Go Go’ carry that trademark heavy yet extremely strange electro style that is what Crookers is all about. Gotta say ‘A Go Go’ is my favorite of the two it hits so hard!
This was featured in my Most Wanted Monday recently and it is here Carnage and Borgore’s collaboration ‘Incredible’. Now everyone was expecting either a trap track from this or a heavy dubstep electro track. It is really neither of those instead it is a huge festival electro house track meant to just knock everyone five feet backwards. I mean this track is huge, enormous, colossal. Expect to hear this one everywhere. Carnage is making huge moves in the EDM game, his festival trap remixes have gained an incredible amount of popularity and this track proves he can do originals as well and I look forward to what he has in store for us in 2013. Bump this one!
