The Finnish Duo, Maison & Dragen, are back with one of the best tracks I’ve heard in a while. The song is called ‘WOW’ and it has to be one of the finer productions of the year. The track starts off with a big, high pitched build up that is dropped into some neat distortions. They then add a nice bass line, which leads up to some of the biggest synths you will ever hear. The song ends as the duo brings the original deep bass distortions back into play. This song epitomizes why Maison and Dragen are one of the top production duos in the game. It shows how they can make a nice progressive song, while incorporating some awesome electro sounds as well. Enjoy this one!
There is absolutely no denying that W&W are off to a huge 2013 with releases like ‘Moscow’, ‘Alpha’, and ‘D# Fat’. Now the duo from the Netherlands are back with an absolute banger. The track is called ‘Thunder’ which is a perfect title for it seeing it features thunderous synths that’ll get everyone clapping, and a deep drop that’ll get any party moving. This track is going to be one of the bigger festival jams of the summer. I suggest you pick this one up immediately.
One of my personal favorite production groups, The Bingo Players, are back with their new track ‘Buzzcut’. The duo use a fun build up which is eventually dropped into one bass heavy electro drop that’ll get anyone fist pumping. The main reason I love the Bingo Players is because all of their tracks are unique, as they take chances on every song. Enjoy this one! 1,2,3 GO!
The genre of electro house has definitely lost its way a lot over the past year but that doesn’t necessarily mean all electro house producers have lost their way. One of the few electro house producers who is consistently making good new music and pushing the boundaries of the genre and his own sound is John Dahlback, this is his latest track ‘Nuke’. Thanks John.
Nicky Romero following up his massive set at Ultra by releasing a really sought after track of his ‘Symphonica’. This is just standard incredible production from Nicky who seems to never disappoint anymore especially when he is releasing his specialty, big electro tunes. Love the start of the second build in this song with the acapella violins and cellos which make for a really epic build into the second drop. Enjoy!
Moguai who has had great success over the past few years getting a lot of helps from huge name DJs like the boys in SHM and Tiesto playing his tracks regularly in their sets. His latest track ‘Champs’ is even being released on Angello’s Size Records. It is a really nice track that showcases Moguai’s abilities as a progressive producer with really great chord progressions and still keeps that electro house flavor that has gotten him to where he is today. I love the album artwork too I feel like it really is an accurate representation of this song in a strange way. It feels like kind of two intertwining songs mashed together to make one really great track. Enjoy!
Chris Lake is back in a big way with his track ‘Ohh Shhh’ which is a huge electro track. This one has been making its rounds in a lot of the worlds biggest DJs sets at various festivals and for good reason. It has a great festival feel to it, with big buildups that drop into electro or even dutch house drops made especially to get a crowd of 50k moving around. Chis Lake is a producer that definitely deserves your attention if you have not given him any yet, enjoy!
The Ultra 2013 CD came packed with huge tracks two of which I will post today as I think they are the most significant of the entire album. The first is Afrojack’s ‘Air Guitar’ which is a great classic sounding Afrojack song. No tricks or anything on this one just standard huge electro dutch house track from the jack. This was a track that received a lot of hype leading into the Ultra weekends and held the same amount of hype during and after it ended. If you love tracks like Bangduck or Amsterdamn definitely make sure to check this one out! Enjoy!
New track from the boys in Hard Rock Sofa named perhaps after the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, who like the Hard Rock Sofa guys was Russian. The new track ‘Rasputin’ was released on Axwell’s label Axtone and is pretty standard stuff from the guys. Big festival buildups and big festival drops, you can bet to hear this one at shows in the coming season maybe bootlegged with some vocals. The second buildup is the best and even features a creepy sample to go along with the eery synths. Enjoy!
Firebeatz continue to pump out the massive electro tracks, this one ‘Gangster’ just in time for Ultra and Miami Music week. Definitely not a coincidence and I am sure this is one you will hear in a lot of electro house sets due to its huge buildup and catchy sample before the Firebeatz monster drop. These guys continue to push the boundaries of electro house and are definitely at the forefront of the genre. Enjoy!
