December saw so a ridiculous amount of amazing tracks released so this was a hard one to order. Taking the top spot though had to be the long anticipated collab between Nicky Romero and Avicii ‘I Could Be The One’ which finally saw its release at the end of December. Skydrop (Original Mix)
Very anticipated release here, a collaboration between two electro house heavy hitters R3hab and ZROQ come together to release ‘Skydrop’ on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom. I just recently heard this on the latest episode of Musical Freedom radio in which R3hab was the guest DJ and was extremely excited that it was getting released so soon. R3hab is a hit or miss for me, and ZROQ although he is a newer producer seems to fall in the same category. This one is definitely a hit though, the drop sounds a lot like Tommy Trash was involved in the track but either way the fast ripping synths make this one hell of an electro track.

Tight race for the best House track of October with so many huge releases but beating out tracks like ‘Yeah’, ‘Lights’, and Panic was Tiesto and Allure’s incredible collaboration ‘Pair of Dice’ topping our list.

Shermanology & R3hab – Living 4 The City (Original Mix)
The Chainsaw master is back again! And this time he brought Shermanology along with him to provide some killer vocals. The track features an interesting opening, fire vocals from Shermanology, and that chainsaw drop that only R3hab can give you. Man is this guy having himself a huge year with tracks like this one, his ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’ remixes, and who could forget ‘Chainsaw The Night’! Havana Brown feat. R3hab – You’ll Be Mine (R3hab & ZROQ Remix)
R3hab and ZROQ have teamed up to remix Havana Brown and R3habs new track ‘You’ll Be Mine’. I love the collab cause ZROQ and R3hab have a similar heavy electro sound that really go together. The song features some nice vocals from Havana Brown, and one sick electro house drop. It seems like the track is really heavily influenced by ZROQ, because it uses a very similar drop to the one he and Nicky Romero used in ‘WTF?!’…enjoy

Best Of July: Remixes, Bootlegs & Edits
July was a very busy month for remixers in the EDM game… huge producers got into the mix this month like John Dahlback, Benny Benassi, and Tristan Garner. July featured some huge remix packs, which were of Calvin Harris’ ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’ which was released on the 29th, Pascal & Pearces’s ‘Disco Sun’ which dropped on the 9th, and of Zedd’s ‘Spectrum’ which dropped on the 31st. Producers also ended up remixing some of my favorite bands like Passion Pit and The Temper Trap as well as remixing other big EDM producers tracks. R3hab is back with his second remix of Calvin Harris’ ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’ which features Example. If you remember earlier this week I posted his remix of this song but it was his EDC LV cut, and now I’ve got the EDC NYC remix for you! We’ll Be Coming Back (R3hab EDC Vegas Remix)
Remix king R3hab has released a new remix which is of Calvin Harris and Examples song We’ll Be Coming Back. This one was dropped at EDC Vegas was one of the biggest hits from the show. It features Example’s beautiful vocals which R3hab builds up nicely and drops into a nice uplifting synth drop. This one doesn’t feature R3hab’s usual song structure and I’m really diggin’ it. Pick up this summer jam and enjoy!
