I have two remixes of NERVO’s massive track ‘You’re Gonna Love Again’ one by the Dutch producer Marco V and the other by Stockholm/DC based duo Pleasurekraft. Originally thought to be a collaboration between Avicii and NERVO when this track was finally released Tim Berg’s name was nowhere to be found. I was almost happy about that because if Avicii had been on this track people would continue to ignore the incredible talent of the NERVO twins. Now these two remixes are pretty awesome because both are very fresh takes on the track. First Marco V, who is becoming a favorite of mine, keeps the progressive feel of the track but changes a lot about the build and drop. He makes it into more of a big room track with the synths coming in behind the vocals keeping the drop a lot like the original at first but then drops it a second time into a far more electro synth driven drop. The rest of the track is back and forth from the regular uplifting synth drop to the heavier electro drop. I also have a remix from Pleasurekraft which is a whole different take on the track making it into an electro/tech house track. Instead of having a build and a drop it keeps a constant electro beat the whole way through and the duo also distorts the original vocals making them sound more robotic. Which remix do you prefer? So I posted Avicii and Nervo’s preview just the other day, because I figured it’d be another long wait for the track but apparently I was wrong. It features great vocals by the Nervo Twins, and the vocals are paired with those beautiful synths that have become Avicii’s trademark. This track is huge, and I’m hopin to see Avicii play it at UMass.
